A decision, with the working shown
Which PDF tool
fits your setup?
Tell us about your documents and constraints. Get a shortlist with source-backed reasons, trade-offs, and an honest “not enough evidence” when that’s the answer.
Recommendations are documentation reviewed, not hands-on tested. Separate small extraction checks show measured outputs and failures. No PDFs, personal information, or payment details needed.

02 / The decision
The evidence comes first.
We won’t fill three slots just to make a list.
- Check the hard limitsUnsupported tools are rejected. Missing evidence stays unknown.
- Order the qualified optionsDocumented workflow fit comes first. This isn’t a speed or accuracy benchmark.
- Show the next stepYou get source links, licensing caveats, and what to validate before adopting.
Only seven preference fields are used.
03 / For agents
Same evidence.
Structured output.
Use the versioned request contract to get ranked candidates, per-constraint reasons, exclusions, unknowns, source dates, and an explicit abstention status.
The downloadable contract works with the included Worker handler. API availability is checked when this page opens.

A narrow, honest first edition.
This prototype reviews five open-source workflows for PDF table extraction. It doesn’t inspect documents, benchmark tools, certify security, or guarantee successful extraction. Its recommendations are bounded by the source snapshot and the exact configuration reviewed.
Every report remains free while this is a prototype. The proposed $1 report is not a subscription, a charge, or a commitment. Live payments need a separate setup and approved terms.
